Plumbing problems can’t be scheduled on a calendar. They often happen when we least expect it.
You can’t predict when your plumbing will burst and you’ll be standing in several inches of water. If you notice leaking water you should first turn off any water sources in that direction. For example, if you know the leak is coming from your kitchen sink, turn off the shut-off valve under your counter. If you can’t find the source of the leak, turn off your home main water supply to be safe.
